Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) requested the security footage from Ridge and Brooke’s house from New Years’ Eve. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) knew that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) was telling the truth about Santa being Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Steffy knew they needed more concrete proof to convince their father that Brooke had been unfaithful to him with Deacon on New Year’s Eve.

Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will see that now they have proof positive of Deacon spending the night, Steffy and Thomas tell their mother. Taylor sees the footage and is shocked – and realizes Brooke is in her old cheating pattern, and takes it upon herself to tell Ridge in a gentle way.

The Bold and The Beautiful fans will recall that the only person that hasn’t heard the Grandma kissing Santa Claus story from Douglas is Taylor! Steffy and Thomas tell Taylor the backstory, including the part about Brooke wanting Douglas to keep what he saw a secret, which makes Taylor’s blood boil! Taylor, as both a grandmother and a psychiatrist, is concerned for Douglas’ well-being, especially concerned that Douglas could be exposed to Deacon who she doesn’t trust!

When Ridge had dropped in on Taylor at work, she had asked him questions about Brooke’s wellbeing. Ridge had not given up much information, even though Taylor on the outside looking in could tell there was something wrong!

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease Steffy has been on a mission to get her parents remarried and uses the footage! Steffy shows the footage to Taylor, and Taylor cannot believe that Brooke would be so stupid, not knowing Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) part in what happened.

Sheila was an integral part of Brooke’s falling off the wagon, leading to Deacon’s spending the night on The Bold and the Beautiful. Even though in reality the night was innocent other than the kissing, no one knows except Brooke and Deacon and Steffy will prove the worst case scenario with the footage! Based on Brooke’s past cheating patterns, there is no reason to believe Deacon was there all night without having a sexual encounter!

According to B&B spoilers and updates, fans will see Taylor go to Ridge with the revelation that Brooke and Deacon spent New Years’ Eve together. As viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful can imagine, Ridge will not take this revelation well, even from Taylor, who knew Steffy wouldn’t be gentle!

Ridge fights the truth that is obvious from the security footage, continuing to be in denial about the possibility of Brooke’s cheating on him! Taylor tries to bring him out of denial with the truth that Brooke has gone back to her cheating patterns and she and Ridge get into a fierce argument! Ridge cannot hear it – and gets mad at Taylor, who keeps telling him not to shoot the messenger!
