B&B, an American television soap opera created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell premiered on March 23, 1987. It was created as a sister soap to the Bells’ The Young and the Restless which also airs on CBS.
The show is now headed by its longest-serving actors; Katherine Kelly Lang as Brooke Logan and John McCook as Eric Forrester. Over the years, the show has become the most watched soap on the world with an audience of about 26.2 million viewers.

The show continues to hold the second-placed position in the weekly Nielsen Ratings for daytime soap operas. The show won over 30 Daytime Emmy Awards including for Outstanding Drama Series.
The show switched to high definition in 2011. Over the years, several characters have from both Y&R and B&B have crossed over the two shows since the early 1990s.
B&B is set in Los Angeles and centers and follows the live of the Forrester Family and their fashion hose business, Forrester Creations. At present they have aired over 8,000 episodes.
The show also follows the lives of The Spencers, The Logans and more. Just like other soaps, the show visits wealthy families with love affairs, betrayals, scandals and more.
Eric spent many years married to Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) who was an integral part of the show until the character’s death. Ronn Moss also was a significant part of the show playing the role of Ridge Forrester before Thorsten Kaye took over the role. Original characters also include; Donna Logan and Katie Logan now played by Jennifer Gareis and Heather Tom respectively.
