The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers and updates reveal Heather Tom, who plays Katie Logan, has been doing much more on the show than just acting. She not only is becoming a highly respected director, she’s been writing some of the show’s scripts.

In a lively discussion on Wednesday at Michael Fairman’s YouTube Channel, Heather made an exciting announcement to both her fans and co-star Don Diamont, who portrays Bill Spencer. She shared that she has embarked on writing scripts for the CBS daytime soap opera.

During the event, a fan praised Heather’s remarkable direction in one of her episodes, when Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) discovers “Sheila” Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) has ten toes instead of nine.

That was what led to the discovery that it wasn’t Sheila that was killed, it was her imposter. In response, Tom stated, “I’m directing more episodes,  I’m also writing for the show,  I just wrapped up my third script-it’s a new adventure for me.”

B & B Spoilers – Heather Revealed She’s Not The Only Actor On The Show Who Writes

Heather isn’t the only actor on the show who also writes scripts for it- Lawrence Saint-Victor, who portrays Carter Walton  also contributes as a writer for the series. The Bold and the Beautiful is under the creative direction of head writer and executive producer Brad Bell.

Initially, Don Diamont expressed surprise at Heather’s involvement in scriptwriting for B&B, but he quickly added, “It doesn’t surprise me at all that she’s an incredible director. I have no doubt she’ll excel in writing just as much as she does in acting; her creative energy as a director is simply extraordinary.

She is immensely talented and deeply dedicated, and that passion shines through in everything she does. I can’t emphasize enough how fortunate I feel to collaborate with such a remarkably gifted individual and a genuinely wonderful person.”

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Heather Tom Is Also An Excellent Comedienne

Heather is a multi-talented woman, and not only is she good at drama, directing and writing scripts, she’s an excellent comedienne!

During the 2020 shutdown, she made a hilarious Instagram reel featuring herself, one of her sons, and the family dog of her struggles getting into a tight pair of jeans! One could call it “The Battle of The Britches”!

She had mentioned she was losing her mind 39 days into quarantine and noted she was upstaged by the dog. Obviously, she has all the equipment in her home to make tv-worthy Instagram reels, it has better staging and focus than some tv shows!
