As B&B fans know, Justin seized what he felt was the perfect opportunity. Bill screwed up again and appeared to have doomed himself and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to years in prison. But the Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero) hit and run wasn’t what it appeared to be. So there was no crime and Bill’s cover-up actions were dismissed.
Thomas did report Vinny’s confession, with the texted video sufficing as enough to clear Bill and Liam. However, Thomas didn’t reveal to Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) that he’d been taken prisoner by Justin. That could give Spears’ character an out.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Summer Thriller Wraps
It wasn’t a stretched storyline, as this thriller played out in what could be reasonably counted in a few handfuls of weeks. But it felt like it was time to wrap the terrible ending to Vinny’s life and resulting plot consequences.
Liam was never the guilty party, but rather Vinny’s target and the victim of Bill’s actions. Hopefully, Liam is able to restore his family life with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and the children.
As for Bill, he was surprisingly and somewhat unbelievably allowed to sign a time-served release, with his diver’s license also being suspended. That’s a slap on the wrist folks.
B&B Spoilers – Justin Barber Able To Redeem Himself?
Justin didn’t know how to handle the needless mess he created. Instead of working on Bill and Liam’s freedom, he was drunk with opportunistic power at Spencer Publications.
It will be hard to imagine Bill taking Justin back after their teased fisticuffs. But stranger things have happened in the daytime. Regardless, it appears as though Justin has gained the remarkable ability to also skate from prison time.
He, like his revealed, loathed boss, Bill, isn’t projecting toward incarceration for legal malpractice, and intended hostile takeover, or holding Thomas hostage.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Bill Spencer Follows Eric Forrester’s Lead
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) seemed destined to be ousted from Forrester Creations, but he hasn’t been. Eric Forrester (John McCook) has forgiven Carter conditionally. As long as he stays away from Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), then FC’s lead counsel and Board member stays.
Might Bill make a similar decision? Justin might be seen as too valuable to let go. But this calculation is different than Carter’s outcome and Dollar Bill is no Eric Forrester.
