There is a chance that police might already know the truth and are pushing Bill to spill. Bill said there were no cameras nearby, but he was talking about traffic and street cameras. Were there businesses nearby? Many of them have cameras that sometimes can catch events on the street. Are there homes on that road? If so, some houses have security cameras. Plus, there could be someone that was watching from afar who wasn’t noticed. Something is going to happen that will have Bill and Liam both facing consequences. It’s not a matter of if but when and how.
