The guilt is consuming Liam and is basically eating him alive. He needs to confess but Bill won’t allow it. The one person that Liam trusts most in the world is Hope. So, he begins to tell her the truth. However, it seems that Bill walks in just in time to stop Liam from making a huge mistake. Even though Hope is right about marriage shouldn’t have secrets, she is also the type of person that would push Liam to tell the truth to the police.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Bill stops Liam from confessing to Hope. Even though he is being really controlling and forceful with Liam, he’s not blind to his son’s struggles. He knows that Liam isn’t cut out for this sort of thing but also isn’t willing to allow him to go to prison for an accident. In Bill’s mind, Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) death is no big loss. Actor Don Diamont spoke to Soap Opera Digest about the troubling storyline.

B&B Spoilers – Don Diamont Explains

Bill is sincerely trying to do what he thinks is best for his son. He knows that the police won’t believe that hitting Vinny was an accident.

“Bill tries to reinforce to Liam what the consequences of this situation [telling Hope] could be. He does not have any feeling of ‘Poor Vinny.’ The guy is gone. He’s no great loss and he says to Liam, ‘What you are facing as a very good person when this was, in fact, an accident? We are not going to risk your freedom. You are not going to risk your life for this degenerate. No. He got what was coming to him, so be it.”

However, Hope already suspects that something huge is going on and Bill is involved. She confides to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) about Liam’s strange behavior. It sounds like this could be the beginning of the end of the murder mystery.
