Brooke tells Bill the same thing that she told Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), she’s not interested in a Brill reunion. And with that Bill further jeopardizes, if not ends any current potential for Katie Logan (Heather Tom) to forgive him and restart Batie.

Bill told Katie that he was fully satisfied with their family life and was truly sorry. The fans and Tom’s character could see that his post cabin kiss reveal apology was sincere. But everyone knew that his words carried little meaning.
However, a chunk of soapy time passed since Bill offered to do whatever it took to redeem himself in Katie’s eyes. It appears as though a number of months have passed since that event happened, which considers the modest time leap following the production shutdown.
After only giving Katie a modest amount of space, Bill seems to have resigned himself to believing that she would never green-light the reconciliation he asked for. So, when hearing of Brooke’s availability, he leaped without looking.

B&B Spoilers – Quinn Fuller Forrester Playing Hand Smoothly
Quinn believes that her master plan to destroy Bridge and create Shidge worked. It appears, for the moment, that she’s right. Whether the results hold remains to be seen.
Sofer’s character had no real interest in seeing Bill and Brooke reunite. Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) father, along with Katie, were collateral damage, as Quinn termed it. So her push of Bill toward Brooke was purely intended to ensure that Bridge remained broken.
Quinn is smoothly playing the hand she created. Next, she’ll attempt to keep the rearranged cards in place.

Katie told Bill that he would continue to repeat his pattern of betrayal at the failed Bridge reunion party. As Tom’s character predicted, Bill followed his well worn path and began to chase Brooke again.
Waiting before making a final decision about a potential Batie reunion was wise. Katie’s experience and instinct accurately predicted what came to pass. And, with the passage of time, Bill appears to have done himself in once again.
