The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Diamont spoke to Soap Opera Digest about the storyline. He explained why Bill refuses to allow Liam to confess. After all, he was the one driving the car, Liam knows the truth always comes out, and he is a grown man. However, some parents are overbearing and convinced that their way is best. This is certainly the case with many soap moms and dads, including Bill and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).

“Bill says to Liam, ‘Are you willing to believe that jurors are going to buy your version of what happened, or do you have to be concerned that your ‘Golly, gee whiz!’ innocence will not pay off? The risk is just too great. Bill has seen too much in his life, and the bottom line is, Liam is being too naive here — and that is completely unacceptable to Bill.”
