The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease that Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) recent strange behavior may be due to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) administering some kind of love potion! Sheila does have medical training as a nurse and she obviously knows something or she wouldn’t have been able to know what drugs John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) needed.

Although there are obviously aphrodisiacs and date rape drugs, Bill knows everything that’s going on so it’s more than that. What in real life could Sheila be giving to Bill that’s making him act like such a lovesick puppy dog with her? When Katie Logan (Heather Tom) couldn’t even get through to him, she knew there was something desperately wrong-she mentioned depression, but there’s something deeper.

Bill is acting like he’s being controlled by either hypnotism or a mind altering drug that is making Bill very unlike Bill. It’s probably more than just some kind of drug that would make him lusty and frisky, he’s acting anything but.

B & B Spoilers – Controlled Passion And Declarations Of Love?

For all the love talk and sex that he recently had with Sheila, this is totally different than Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) who was likely taking advantage of Sheila. There are some honorable men who won’t take sex from a woman throwing herself at them, but Deacon doesn’t appear to be one and neither is Bill. At least the two of them seemed to have some fun together, even if he had to kick her out to protect himself from blowing his probation and parole. Bill is talking all the love talk but doesn’t look like it’s actually coming from his own mind and passions, it’s like he’s some kind of love robot.

There’s really nothing romantic about what people call love at all when looking at it chemically; it starts as testosterone and estrogen in the brain, releasing dopamine and norepinephrine. That chemical reaction is what causes the early feelings of attraction, lust and finally love, also creating euphoria – that feeling of giddiness when you get a crush. This also lowers the serotonin levels in the brain, so when someone accuses someone of being in love being all in their head, they’re right in a sense.

There are drugs that can be combined to fake the feelings of love that act on the brain, one in particular being oxytocin. That’s called the cuddle hormone and Sheila could be drugging Bill with it – considering he may soon spurn Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) when she makes a bold move.
