B&B spoilers reveal that for romantic scenes, there are times when they will use old soap tricks. Remember the old days when you would just see the bedpost or a shadow of a couple on the wall? Some of those can be used during filming without putting the actors at risk. However, there are other creative solutions planned for romantic and sex scenes.

B&B Spoilers: Blow-Up Dolls In Sex Scenes

According to Forbes, Bell explained that simulated sex scenes will require them to think outside the box. He said that they will use a combination of stand-ins and blow-up dolls. Yes, you read that correctly. Our favorite characters are going to be passionately making out with inflatable dolls.

“We have some life-like blow-up dolls that have been sitting around here for the past 15 years, that we’ve used for various other stories — (like) when people were presumed dead. We’re dusting off the dolls and putting new wigs and make-up on them and they’ll be featured in love scenes.”

Spouses Get To Be ‘Love Scene Doubles’

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that another creative tactic that will be used includes the spouses of the actors, per The Hollywood Reporter. In some cases, the real-life husbands and wives will be used as “love scene doubles.” This is definitely a creative way to keep romantic storylines in the soap without risking the health of the cast members.
