Realistically, Brooke was just telling Ridge that she was the one at fault. However, Ridge viewed it as Brooke defending the enemy. Afterward, Ridge went to Taylor and decided he suddenly wanted her back. During the week of February 21, Ridge will take off his wedding band and say goodbye to Brooke.

B&B Spoilers – Turning to Eric Forrester

When Ridge tells his wife that it’s over between them, Brooke will desperately try to fix the situation. Brooke will vent to Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). It is Liam who spies on Ridge to report back to the Logan women what the dressmaker is up to.

Brooke will also make a panicked phone call to Eric. Despite what Brooke does, Eric has always been a “Bridge” supporter. That isn’t going to change, McCook shared with Soap Opera Digest.

“Eric is always going to want Ridge to be with Brooke. Despite the past, he’s always going to want that relationship to be there. He tells her that falling off the wagon is not her fault. She hasn’t had the urge to drink since. He says, ‘You are going to be okay and let’s look at the future now.’ I think as things go on, Eric will continue to have that point of view with Brooke.”

In Eric’s eyes, Brooke can’t be blamed for anything and it’s always someone else’s fault. So, it’s no wonder why Brooke is unable to take responsibility for anything. Just like a little kid, it’s easier to blame everyone else for her actions.

While it’s true that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) caused Brooke’s relapse, the villain had nothing to do with the “Beacon” kiss. Alcohol simply lowers one’s inhibitions so Brooke must have wanted to kiss Deacon on some level.

Expect “Bridge” to get back together at some point because that’s always what happens. Until the next time Brooke makes a “mistake.” Then, the cycle will repeat. Same situation, just a different man and different day.
