The Bold And The Beautiful: Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang)The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) might think she has the perfect plan to hang onto her husband and block her rival. Brooke might push Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) into a vow renewal, trying to block her rival Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) path to reconcilement.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Staking Her Claim

Brooke has continued to stake her claim on Ridge as her husband for months now, in spite of Ridge never even taking her to bed. He moved back in when she broke her ankle to help care for her and protect her when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was still a danger-that they knew of. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) stayed up at the cliff house with Taylor for protection, but when Taylor and Ridge went to Monaco, things changed.

Ridge really reconnected romantically with Taylor in Monaco and he’s been unable to get her off his mind or out of his heart. In the meantime, Brooke has been struggling to hang onto him when his heart and mind are clearly with Taylor.

B&B Spoilers – Forrester Unity

There’s been a big and growing sense of Forrester unity since John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) were reunited. Finn has become accepted as a Forrester family member and now Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) is in the process of coming back to Thomas. The little boy is in the middle of a custody fight between Thomas, Ridge’s son, and Hope Spencer, (Annika Noelle) Brooke’s daughter when Douglas clearly wants to stay with Dad.

According to the Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, Brooke has made the battle over Douglas her battle even more than Thomas and Hope, accusing Taylor of using Douglas to stake a claim on Ridge. Steffy has been pushing that battle as Forresters versus Logans, and Brooke isn’t just going to give up the ship.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – The Battle Is Obvious

The battle over Ridge by Brooke is obvious, with her all over him in front of Taylor in the August 31 episode. She was staking her claim and rubbing Taylor’s face in it that she, not Taylor, is his destiny. Ridge has had his own part in the rivalry, having waffled between the two of them for years.

Brooke and Ridge are still married, but he was a little lax in not being sensitive to Taylor’s feelings when Brooke sexed up her talk in front of her. Brooke’s hold on Ridge is obviously physical in the most boudoir sense of the word.

B&B Spoilers – Vow Renewal As A Weapon

Brooke absolutely would weaponize a vow renewal to hang onto Ridge and she knows she can just throw herself at him and melt him like butter. However, that tactic hasn’t worked as well as it used to lately, and perhaps that is because true love – like Taylor has for him – is starting to win out. She might think convincing him to renew their vows, especially in front of a group, will seal the deal but she may be counting her chickens before they’re hatched. Ridge may not want to go through a vow renewal because his heart is not with her anymore, it’s with Taylor.
