No, Eric’s feelings aren’t limited. But Quinn’s certainly are.

Her view of loyalty includes many misdeeds. Seeing Eric’s adopted son, Ridge, and his longtime friend, Carter, as objects of affection demonstrate how Quinn feels about herself.

For whatever psychological reasons Quinn is incapable of maintaining loyalty or maintaining self-control. She’s needed mental health treatment for many years. Quinn doesn’t recognize that glaring point, which is proof of her instability.
