Devoted soap opera fans know that B&B can only go back so far in storyline time because Ron Moss (the original Ridge from this soap’s first episode in 1987) can not be shown full-on in flashbacks.

Meanwhile, modern Ridge has concluded that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) offers him an escape from Brooke’s drama. So, he sees a renewed future with pleasant Taylor, with Brooke representing yesterday’s pain.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Taylor Hayes Is A Rebound

Viewers know that Ridge and Taylor have been married twice before. That two-time union pales in comparison to Ridge and Brooke’s incredible eight marriage count.

Brooke heard Ridge say that it was all too much. Ridge may have been willing to accept Brooke’s choice to drink with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), the kissing session, and maybe the so-called sleepover. But defending Kanan’s character in the immediate aftermath of the fight was too much.

Taylor represents the anti-Brooke. She is chill and low drama, which is exactly what Ridge needs right now.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan Banking On Hope

The hope used in the subject header is not a wink at Annika Noelle’s (Hope Spencer) character. Instead, it means that Brooke is choosing to believe that Ridge will follow his pattern of forgiving her nearly anything.

But Brooke knows that there have been times when their unions went overboard. So, she is deluding herself in thinking that the incidents with Deacon will be overcome.

Logan, without the Forrester, puts Brooke in an unwanted position. She is used to being with a man and never anticipated that her soul mate would walk out and refuse to return.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Is Renewed

Ridge wants what any spouse wants, trust. With that, love has meaning. Without it, broken promises abound.

Brooke did more than make a mistake on New Year’s Eve. She compounded it by lying about what happened and then engaging in a cover-up.

Hearing that Ridge was tired translates to him wanting to be renewed. Taylor offers that bridge to tomorrow. And yes, that is a purposeful punch at what Brooke felt she and Ridge represent, or more accurately, represented.

      Taylor is chill and no drama? She shot Bill in the back, purchased a stolen baby for her daughter and mowed down Darla in her car. Taylor is hardly drama free.

      OMG! Brooke has to be without a man for a while. I know the world is going to come to an end but I think she is going to live. Anyway, she always has Deacon to fall back on.
