The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Miscalculates Like Hope Did – Taylor’s Confidence Is Winning

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) wants to ride the momentum. She’s hoping to use Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) return to power to reignite their relationship.

But Brooke appears to be making the same mistake as her daughter. She’s miscalculated Ridge’s state of mind.

Ridge was emotionally broken after his best friend and emotional brother, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), stole Forrester Creations.

Ridge was humiliated because Carter’s sleight of hand fooled him and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

They never anticipated an assumed solid ally’s betrayal, and both blamed Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) influence for it.

Ridge Forrester Trusts Taylor Hayes Again

Ridge has never said that he’s stopped loving Brooke. He does still love her.

But Brooke isn’t willing to accept that Ridge has stopped trusting her. Brooke’s repeated self-sabotage became tiresome, and Ridge couldn’t handle her immaturity.

So, he sought a safe harbor in the form of Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). Her presumed fatal diagnosis propelled their reconnection faster than it usually would have developed, with a bit of soap mixed into that equation for effect.

Hope Logan Made Her Mother Look Bad

Hope was a driving force behind convincing Carter to deceive Ridge and Steffy. He created a requested LLC but purposely made himself its manager so he could take control of FC.

Brooke was later offered the vacant Chief Executive Officer position when Carter wanted to tell the fashion world that the revamped fashion house was steady. Her acceptance of that offer and social media announcement was a significant mistake.

Ridge’s confidence in Brooke was broken because she appeared to be capitalizing on the Forrester family’s collective mistake. She wasn’t, and Brooke told Ridge that she planned to work to reclaim the company for the Forresters. But it was too little, too late.

Brooke Logan Has Limited Options

A change in approach will occur if Brooke concludes that Ridge isn’t returning to her. One problem will be Brooke’s continued presence at FC.

It’s fair to wonder if Brooke might follow Hope and pursue success elsewhere. If Ridge spurns her, she’ll have to consider leaving FC. It wouldn’t be an easy decision, but Brooke might be unable to be around the love of her life if she feels he’s genuinely committed to Taylor.

Assuming Hope might reconnect with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and potentially be hired by Spencer Publications. Brooke’s connection with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), who Ridge loathes, would seem like a workable option.

However, that revenge and rebound storyline must be fleshed out through early spring reaction and realized scenes to move beyond reasonable speculation.
