But as is true with many, but not all, idealistic ideas, reality has pushed back. Taylor recently referenced Brooke’s notorious past as a weapon. It became part of the building tension between Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Taylor fiercely defends her children. Brooke is the same. But both ladies appeared to realize that seeing their families as connected instead of enemies was best for all.
The so-called pact Taylor and Brooke formed is or was based on a belief that they allowed themselves to get carried away because of Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) influence. But citing that man as the source of their woes reflected self-deception.
Taylor’s territory does not include Ridge. She does not own the rights to him, as Allen’s character seems to think when citing her dislike of the term destiny.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan Realizes Friendship Is Fleeting
Brooke has found it hard to have friends through the years. Such is the case because various men adored her. That created understandable reactions from certain people, most famously Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery).
But Stephanie came to care for Brooke. She died in her arms in one of the most memorable scenes in this show’s history. It also arguably ranks with the best farewells in all of daytime.
Taylor was never Brooke’s friend. How could she be, considering that Ridge married her first and they had three children. Brooke also realizes that the alliance she created with Taylor this year was fleeting.

The truth is some people occupy large spaces in the hearts of their loved ones. By this point in show history, fans can legitimately argue that Taylor is not as deeply loved by Ridge.
Brooke is the woman Ridge fell in love with first, even though he married Taylor first. While Ridge has more children with Taylor than Brooke, he married Taylor twice and Brooke eight times.
The math is undeniable when someone marries a lady four times more than another. Brooke can count a thin supposed friendship with Taylor on her fingers. But Brooke’s love for Ridge and his love for her is timeless on B&B.
