‘The Bold And the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Brooke’s Defense Of Hope Questioned – Deacon Is A Wedge

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) recently came to the defense of her daughter. Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) request to create a relationship with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was fiercely opposed by Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is also fully leery of Deacon becoming a part of the family. But he has not been nearly as aggressive as Ridge on this topic. As Hope pointed out, Liam’s father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), is no paragon of virtue.

With Liam somewhat neutralized, as is often true, Ridge appointed himself as Hope’s and Brooke’s defender against the Deacon threat.

Ridge has Eric Forrester (John McCook) as a role model father. Eric is his stepfather, which does not alter a soapy point that can be made.

While Queric’s troubles are widely known, Eric merely enabled his wife’s behavior and decisions. No one is citing McCook’s character as the source of his family problems.

Ridge sees his dad as an ideal father. Plus, Ridge also believes that he has never acted as carelessly as Deacon has toward Hope. The underlying issue, being Brooke’s protection, is key as well.

B&B Spoilers – Deacon Sharpe Recognizes Threat

Deacon is not dumb, as some would have others believe. He knows that Ridge is a problem. It makes sense, as he is Brooke’s husband.

The revealing admission Deacon offered to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) adds extra intrigue into this developing tale. Deacon acknowledged that he has never gotten over Brooke and wants to revive a relationship with her.

Brooke was stunned when Deacon admitted his feelings to her. It was interesting that she did not fully dismiss his aspirations.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Forrester Tied Through Daughter

There was a spark with Deacon all those years ago. Hope was hoping that her mother would admit to being in love with her dad at that time. But Brooke would not go that far or admit what may have been true.

Whatever spark existed at that point in B&B’s history was not relevant and is not critical now. However, if Bridge endures further drama, as has often been true, then Deacon will be available.

Kanan’s character knows Bridge’s volatile backstory. So, he will be patient and then make use of whatever opening exists in the future to renew his bond with Hope’s mother.
