Unfortunately, one of Brooke’s first tasks could be to make a final decision about Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) fashion line. While Hope has her mother’s support, she might not get to keep the fashion line due to the numbers.

B&B spoilers reveal that Stefffy convinced Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to dump Hope and leave the country with their son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).

Now, Steffy is raging over Hope attending Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) wedding. Steffy is also ticked over Hope’s friendship with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Recently, Steffy called Hope into her office for a meeting. Steffy claimed that Hope For the Future is struggling. While Hope said they will bounce back, Steffy thinks it’s time for something new. Steffy told Hope that it’s time for her fashion line to end.

Hope insists that Steffy is just using her position to launch an attack at Hope. Steffy denied it and said it was purely business. Hope doens’t believe this and has gone to tell Brooke, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) that Steffy is out of control.

While it does look like Steffy is attacking Hope, there is a key piece of evidence that shows this really is a business decision. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) gave a painful wince when asked about Hope’s numbers. The fashion line isn’t just struggling, it’s dead in the water.

If this were just based on Stefffy’s word alone, then I would understand Hope’s stance. However, Carter has no reason to lie about the numbers and can back it up with data. So, Hope might not want to believe this, but Forrester Creations can’t keep funding a line that’s in the red.

While Ridge probably won’t give up the co-CEO position, he does want to focus more on designing. However, Ridge isn’t interested in the corporate decisions.

Ridge might think that Brooke being added as co-CEO could balance the scales with Steffy. So, Ridge probably reasons that it would make decisions balanced and more fair. Brooke’s first task might be to make a decision about Hope For the Future.
