The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke’s Offer To Taylor Foreshadows Sheila Showdown?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) remains concerned about her new best friend, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). The sleeping pill scare was an overreaction, but Brooke’s compassion remains apt.

Taylor’s psyche was damaged by a master manipulator, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). As viewers recall, Sheila played a mind game with Taylor after arriving, yet again unannounced, at her psychiatry practice.

Sheila told Taylor they were alike, falsely conflating her having shot multiple people in past years with the character then played by Hunter Tylo (Taylor) shooting Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

Sheila used her hard guilt trip as part of an intimidation campaign. She wanted to take Taylor off the table as part of an effort she and Bill are using to blackmail anyone connected to this storyline from reporting Sheila to the authorities.

There is a logic gap on both ends. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) have not been pressured by Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) or Detective Alex Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) to come clean. Why would the authorities believe Bill if he reports Taylor in retaliation for Steffy and Finn presumably reporting Sheila for shooting them?

So, Sheila’s use of psychological warfare is based on shaky ground. Yet, Taylor’s sense of decency caused her to be overly hard on herself as Brooke recognizes.

B B Spoilers – Believable Friendship Forms In California?

The deepening friendship Taylor and Brooke are forming is debatable. Their connection was based on mutual distrust due to the Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) based rivalry both characters have been part of for years.

There is a feeling of currency in the turnabout, wanting to flow with modern winds by degrading Ridge, blaming him as the source of all ills. Alternatively, people due recognize dysfunction and make changes in their lives.

Brooke, Ridge, and Taylor are equally responsible for their triangle. Not one more than the other. If that assumption is accepted, it can be believable to go along with the Brooke-Taylor friendship.

Imagine a scenario where Ridge’s life is in danger. Of course, Sheila would be the cause of speculative peril. Her hold over Bill likely breaks in that process as well.
