The actor said that Carter learns that Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) is not returning to L.A. The lawyer is already getting so much heat from everyone about his fling with Quinn. So, a part of him feels guilty and wants to be punished. At the same time, he has real feelings for Quinn and doesn’t think anyone should control his personal life.

The fact that Saint-Victor mentioned Carter was successful before working at Forrester Creations hints at his future.
