Grace Buckingham’s (Cassandra Creech) threat was taken to heart. She told Carter that he was not to see her younger daughter anymore. If he continues to do so, she will tell Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about the connection to Paris.
Carter is in the process of repairing his reputation and reestablishing his life. Two major dramas in less than a year caused him heartbreak. The first was when Grace’s older daughter, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), violated her engagement pledge to him and pursued Zende. The second was Carter’s ill-advised relationship with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer).
Saint-Victor’s character can not afford to have another scandal. Paris is not officially tied to Zende, but he knows that a revealed pursuit of Paris would not be received well. So, he told her that they can not see each other anymore.

B&B Spoilers – Paris Buckingham Irked By Mother’s Words
Paris is sure to learn that her mother inserted herself into this scenario. It will come across as though Paris is not an adult who can make her own decisions.
Viewers saw how Zoe reacted when she recognized that Zende was more interested in Paris. Barnes’ character had it out with her sister, which caused a family rift for a short period.
Grace and Paris will likely exchange heated words. If that happens at Forrester Creations, where a great deal of personal business is conducted, then Zende could overhear the mother-daughter tiff. That would lead to a major conflict with Carter.

Carter is not jaded by the incidents in his life. He is trying to learn from them and is also focusing on his career at FC.
While Paris will not like her mother’s involvement, it should cause contemplation. White’s character needs to decide between both men.
If Paris wants to pursue Carter, she can. But that should happen after Paris has a heart-to-heart talk with Zende and tells him that they are no more than friends.
Grace would balk, Zende would be devastated and mad when he learned the identity of her preferred choice. But Carter would have what could be his best chance at finding a positive love match on B&B.
