The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease that upon confronting the reality of Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) dead body, a heartbroken Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) breaks down.

He was in such shock and disbelief when John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) told him what happened, he took off from the apartment to parts unknown!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Deacon Sharpe Confronted Steffy Forrester-Finnegan

Obviously, Finn and likely Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) as well took off looking for Deacon, Hope worried about her father’s state of mind and emotional condition.

Finn and Deacon both wind up with Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) although possibly at different times.

Finn tells Steffy he needs time and space from her to process the enormity of their situation, while Deacon makes some serious accusations-they had broken up a fight between the two.

Both Finn and Deacon witnessed Steffy telling Sheila she wanted her dead; after Steffy went after and attacked her for talking to Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) at Il Giardino.

Deacon lays into Steffy and accuses her of premeditated murder and Finn is tending to doubt Steffy’s story as well, remembering her anger against his birth mother!

B & B Spoilers – Deacon Sharpe Goes To The Morgue To View The Body

Sheila’s body is still in the morgue, and Deacon goes to view the body while Finn gets in a fierce argument with Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda).

Hope goes with Deacon so he won’t be alone as she knows what seeing Sheila’s body will do to him-but at least he’ll know it’s really true.

Acceptance is part of the grieving process, and Deacon needs to move from denial to acceptance and seeing her body will do that.

The people from crime scene investigation and the forensic team from the police department have already done what they needed to do, although a full autopsy wasn’t done.

It was extremely obvious that Sheila was stabbed with a six to eight inch long knife, and the death wound was through her heart and part of one lung.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Deacon Sharpe Breaks Down

Deacon breaks down and cries like a baby when he sees Sheila’s body, and he makes sure to check her feet-he sees nine toes and Sheila’s painted toenails.

Steffy had confronted her in the middle of Sheila’s self-pedicure, so apparently Sheila did finish it after Deacon went back to the restaurant.

So deep is Deacon’s grief, he nearly collapses and morgue personnel rushes over to help Hope catch him; and Deacon, like Finn, blames himself for not keeping an eye on Sheila.

Both men grieve and second-guess themselves, wondering if they’d only gone home instead of staying at work, if they could have prevented this tragedy. Hope stays with Deacon, consoling him and helping him grieve.
