B&B spoilers previously stated that the CBS soap was targeting June as when production could possibly start up again. Well, June is arriving in just a few days and fans are anxious for an update. Even though the cast and crew would love to go back to work today, there are certain approvals they must get first.
B&B Spoilers – First Soap To Film After COVID-19?
In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, the magazine suggested that the soap could be one of the first to resume filming. This is because they are owned by the Bell family, which is different from the General Hospital and Days of Our Lives, which are owned by giant corporations.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Less Red Tape Than GH and DOOL
The magazine explained that The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful have less red tape to get through. However, that doesn’t mean they can resume filming anytime. There are unions to deal with and other entities that must give the green light. It just means one less step for the CBS soaps.
B&B Spoilers – Darin Brooks Updates Fans
Additionally, Brooks was asked on Friday afternoon what that status was of them getting back to work. The actor replied,
“Hopefully soon!! #BoldandBeautiful I know they’re working on it with LA county as we speak! So stay tuned!”
Even though the ultimate good news would be that the soap is back to filming, we do consider this a big positive. If the soap is working on it with the county, then they are one step closer to getting the go-ahead. Let’s hope it happens soon because we are really missing B&B!
