B&B spoilers reveal that Brooke hasn’t drunk since New Year’s Eve. However, she is still struggling with the temptation. Viewers have watched as Brooke dumped out the vodka she helped herself to at the beginning of the year. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) tried to help Brooke avoid temptation by getting rid of all the alcohol in the house.

Despite no more alcohol in the house, calling her sponsor, going to AA meetings, and having a support system, Brooke still craves liquor. Of course, it’s not just due to Brooke getting a taste of alcohol again after so many years. It’s because she’s still keeping a big secret, which is overwhelming her with guilt.

Ridge is doing his best to support and encourage Brooke. However, she remains full of guilt and shame. Even though Ridge is trying to boost Brooke by telling her how proud he is of her admission, it’s having the opposite effect. It’s not Ridge’s fault, but he is unknowingly increasing Brooke’s guilt. Brooke knows she hasn’t been fully honest with Ridge.

Brooke insists that she loves Ridge and not Deacon. Brooke also says that the only reason they kissed was because of the alcohol. However, Annika Noelle (Hope Logan Spencer) implied that Brooke kissed Deacon because she wanted to. There might be some truth to that statement.

Kanan told the publication that everyone forgets that Brooke had a problem with alcohol in 2015. At that time, it was Deacon that saved Brooke from her addiction. The actor believes that Deacon might save Brooke again. Kanan also suggested that Ridge and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) are the real villains in Brooke’s life.

“And, if you look at all the crap that Ridge and Bill have done, they seem to get away with it with impunity and yet Deacon is vilified for it. The only thing that separates them is they have money. Imagine if Deacon could come into finance? All Deacon is doing is trying to fight the good fight.”
