The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Deacon Loses It, Gets A Psych EvaluationThe Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) loses it and gets a psych evaluation after talking about his struggles. He’ll talk things over with his daughter, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and she’ll agree he’s been through a rough situation.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Deacon Sharpe Is Emotionally Scarred

Deacon is emotionally scarred and struggling with the memories of finding Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) shot and bleeding in the alley. Deacon had come in for his shift at Il Giardino and found the gruesome discovery when he went to the alley to get something. Steffy and Finn had been there since the night before, when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) shot them and left them for dead, and Finn is still presumed dead.

It was Deacon who tried to render aid, checked pulses, tried to assist and called 911; and then he went the second mile to notify the families in person. But he cannot get the gruesome scenes out of his mind; he’d seen things like this in prison, but it’s different because it was someone he knew.

BOLD Spoilers: Deacon Sharpe Doesn’t Have Many People To Talk To

Deacon is kind of alone in these struggles, and he doesn’t have many people to talk to; he’ll certainly never trust Sheila again even if he could find her. Deacon has shed any friendship he had with her forever once he found out that she had killed her own son and apparently pretended to grieve over him afterwards. He talks to his daughter Hope about his struggles of trying to deal with his memories of the gruesome discovery, and admits to nightmares.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show Deacon has symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder over that night, sometimes having to go the alley in the course of his workday and being afraid of finding more bodies. Deacon may be a streetwise kind of guy, and done things in the past he isn’t proud of but this has really affected him deeply.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: An Unexpected Friendship

Deacon is at work at Il Giardino when Dr. Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) comes by and the two start talking and develop an unexpected friendship. Taylor thanks Deacon for being so proactive at getting her daughter help and notifying loved ones, and he wishes he had gotten there sooner; perhaps Finn would still be alive. Taylor tells him not to blame himself, there is no way he could have known what had happened – his little janitor closet bedroom is too far from the alley.

Just that little bit of conversation clues Deacon in that he needs to talk to Taylor on a more professional basis, and he decides to make it happen. It’s embarrassing but he knows he needs help if he’s ever going to be able to move forward.

BOLD Spoilers: Deacon Sharpe Makes An Appointment Using An Alias

Even though he and Taylor seemed to hit it off when she came to thank him for his efforts during their previous conversation he is not sure she’ll see him professionally. Besides, he’s a little embarrassed about his needing psychiatric help and calls under an alias to set up an appointment for a psych evaluation. When he arrives, Taylor’s a little surprised and amused that he went to such lengths to talk to her but she puts her psychiatrist hat on and they start talking. But a strange role reversal takes place when she starts confiding in him about her issues with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) returning to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). They begin to bond as patient-client morphs into friend to friend and they discover a connection!
