Deacon feels he can’t trust his wife but still loves her. However, Taylor repeated to Sheila what she had reinforced with Deacon. His wife chose Luna Nozawa (2025 Daytime Emmy Award-winner Lisa Yamada) over him.
Is Taylor Hayes Crossing Ethical Lines?
It would be easy to answer the subject header with a yes or no. But this is a more nuanced question, which fits soap timelines perfectly.
Deacon needs to explore his feelings rather than just bolt from Sheila, leaving the audience wondering. The couple might have an indefinite separation, and Taylor surely isn’t encouraging a return to his wife.
Would a real-world psychiatrist agree to see the husband of a woman who tried killing her daughter?

Taylor decided that she could separate her personal feelings for Sheila from her professional judgments. But if that’s true, then why did she voluntarily inject Luna’s name into the conversation and play Sheila’s defense of her as an either-or choice?
The answer to the above question seems obvious. Unless her line of conversation changes in upcoming sessions, Taylor is trying to steer Deacon away from Sheila because she believes she’s a destabilizing influence.
Deke Sharpe And Hope Logan Are Worried About Their Dad
Eric Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) hadn’t been seen on B&B since 2003, when he was a young child. This character appeared on sister show, The Young and the Restless, in 2010, and appeared to be in his later elementary school years.
Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) was dealing with the end of one relationship, with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), and the restart of another, with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

Deke’s conversation with his dad followed one Hope had with Deacon. Both of Deacon’s children have joined in telling their father that they are concerned about him, specifically because of Sheila.
So, they agree with Taylor.
Deacon Sharpe’s Decision May Impact Many Lives
For the moment, Deacon needs to focus on himself. After he’s had a chance to see if his thoughts and feelings are aligned, then he’ll be prepared to make a final decision about the state of his marriage.
Deacon needs more time after learning that Sheila kept Luna’s existence a secret from him. That was a significant event, but it’s also one that he can choose to forgive if Deacon’s able to maintain trust with his wife.
Yet, he also knows that many people could be endangered if he breaks from Sheila for good. That realistic assessment puts him in what feels like an impossible position.

Deacon should not stay with Sheila if he’s not happy. Deacon did tell Sheila that she had to choose him or luna.
Sheila should not have lied to Deacon twice about luna. Thats no way to be faithful to your spouse.

Taylor’s session with Deacon was disgusting. Who was the patient her or Deacon. No professional tells their patients about their personal life. She never spoke about what Ridge has put her through, but it was all about Brooke. How Brooke giggled her way back into Ridge’s life, how transparent she was about what she was doing. She could see, Steffy could see it, why not Ridge. Also, how Brooke has been relentless undermining her happiness with Ridge through the years undermining her family, how she fought but she couldn’t compromise herself and her principle like Brooke. I feel Deacon should’ve spoken up for Brooke, because Taylor has done everything, she accused Brooke of. She was in his bed before the ink was dry on the fake divorce papers drawn up by Quinn and Shana. She faked BHS because no one would get back with the person who caused it. Why didn’t she have an attacked when Ridge left her and married Brooke the same day. upon her return she was lusting after Ridge like a puppy using those bratty children to hang around him. The minute he left Brooke when he shouldn’t have, she was ready to go to bed with him, but not before the Brooke bashing. She, Steffy and Thomas never missed an opportunity to put Brooke down in front of Ridge and behind his back, but she has principle and morals. She knows Thomas and Steffy undermined Brooke marriage to Ridge but condoned it because it benefitted her. She is supposed to be Deacon’s therapist but locking lips with him. Again, is that having morals and principle. She is pathetic!!
