CBS The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Doctor John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) appears to be a healer. But is that actually the appearance this new character wants to project?
Just because Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and all that ladies think Finn is attractive doesn’t mean that the doctor is a clean-cut guy. Yes, that appears to be the direction B&B is leaning into, with John and Steffy being attracted to each other and then developing into a couple.
Yet, soap operas rely on unexpected twists. So, let’s start by asking if Finn was assigned to Steffy’s case when she was admitted to the hospital or did he engineer that connection intentionally?
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Appearances Can Be Deceiving
Steffy’s motorcycle accident was jarring and created physical consequences that are temporarily painful. But the incident where Steffy appeared to be hit by Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) sport utility vehicle, as he was driving into the intersection that she was crossing, thankfully wasn’t tragic and doesn’t seem to have created any life-altering implications that are permanent.
Rib and spinal injuries mean that every breath Steffy takes is painful. So, Dr. Finnegan prescribed medication that’s intended to help her cope during a set recovery period.
B&B spoilers – Wanting To Be Alert
Steffy has a nanny who helps her with Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Colette Gray). Amelia (no last name known for the role played by Nicola Posener) is reliable and has worked for the Forrester family for awhile.
Whether Amelia is there, or not, Steffy wants to be alert. Her resistance to pills isn’t just about mental toughness, but also seems to imply Steffy’s unwillingness to become dependent on prescription medication.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – John Finnegan Crosses The Line?
John told Steffy, when stopping by the cliff house for the first time, that he lives near to her. That bit of dialogue could prove to be critical if Novlan’s character plays out like an obsessed character who targeted Steffy.
However, the more likely scenario would seem to be that Finn just so happened to be assigned to Steffy’s case when she arrived at the hospital. He and Steffy might just be forming a natural bond.

Whether the above causes Finn’s personal feelings to overshadow his medical logic will soon be known. But it’s reasonable to wonder how the new focus on Steffy’s medicine could tie into her new connection to Finn.
