The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Thomas doesn’t just want Hope for himself. It’s really an obsession that is driven by his love for Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). He is determined to give his son a mother and the only right one he can see is Hope.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Self-Trickery

It doesn’t appear to viewers that Thomas feels any remorse for using Zoe. As for the actor’s perspective, he feels that Thomas has tricked himself into believing a lie. He keeps telling himself that Zoe doesn’t have deep feelings for him.

“… it has been apparent that he has allowed himself to compartmentalize his conscience in the pursuit of getting his son a mother.”

His thoughts aren’t on Zoe, but on accomplishing his mission. He is focused on Hope and can’t see anything else except that. However, the obsession will ultimately end and when it does, could he regret being so cruel?
