B&B Spoilers: Douglas Forrester’s Speech

The villain isn’t stopping with just using Zoe, though. He is also shamelessly using his own little boy. He made sure that Douglas would run off because Thomas knew that Hope would go after him. He also made sure that Douglas gave a little speech to tug at Hope’s heartstrings, including begging Hope to “marry daddy.”

As we have seen, Hope isn’t really sure what to do about the situation. Of course, Thomas is playing innocent, like he didn’t coach Douglas to play with Hope’s mind the way he is. Who is going to suspect a little boy has been coached and is playing Hope? Nobody, that’s why Thomas thinks his latest scheme is going to work.

Matthew Atkinson Explains Using Little Boy

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Atkinson was asked why Thomas is using his son in another scheme to get Hope. The actor replied,

“He knows that Douglas is the key to getting Hope back. He’s making Douglas feel like Thomas felt when he was a child, like he’s losing one of his parents.”
