The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Douglas Tugs At Hope’s Heartstrings, Wants Her To Be with Thomas

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 18, reveal that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) continued their tense conversation in the backstage area at Forrester Creations. Liam wanted Hope to acknowledge that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) still couldn’t be trusted, but Hope didn’t do it. Instead, she talked around the issue, saying that Thomas was trying to be a better father.

Liam repeatedly tried to get Hope to see that Thomas was using Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) to manipulate her, but Hope just wouldn’t budge, and eventually she turned the conversation to Liam’s kiss with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and the fact that he caused their breakup – not Thomas.

Hope cried as she said that their precious family was shattered, but that it was shattered by Liam and not Thomas. Liam apologized for hurting Hope but said that one thing was still true – that Thomas was still trying to drive a wedge between them and that he was using Douglas to do it. Liam vowed to expose Thomas one way or another.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Continues To Romance Zoe

Meanwhile, up in the Forrester design office, Thomas and Zoe kissed passionately and Zoe thanked him for the amazing birthday party and the gorgeous earrings that he gave her as a present. She said that she felt like the center of his world and that her life was amazing. Then Douglas knocked on the door, shouting about why the door was locked.

Thomas let Douglas in the room, and he immediately demanded to know why Zoe was in the room with Thomas. Zoe tried to make nice with Douglas, but he pretty much froze her out. She left, and Douglas said that Thomas was always with Zoe and not with Mommy. “I thought you loved her,” Douglas said. Thomas said that he did, but that he liked Zoe.

Douglas then told Thomas that he wanted him and Mommy together. Thomas said he got that, but that it’s about what Mommy wants. Douglas thought that Thomas should tell Hope that he loves her, and Thomas told Douglas that he should tell Hope that. Douglas said, “Ok, I will right now,” and he went to leave as Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) entered the room.

Vinny complained about Thomas using Douglas at the birthday party, and Thomas revealed that he also arranged the kiss between Liam and Steffy, much to Vinny’s chagrin. Vinny called Thomas obsessed, and Thomas agreed that he was obsessed in a “healthy” way. He said he’d push every button he had to in order to get Hope, and that Douglas was his trump card – and that the little boy would come through for him.

Next, Hope and Liam continued their discussion backstage. Liam said that he wanted to be with Hope and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) and let the Forrester family care for Douglas, which upset Hope. Douglas then came running in and Hope asked him what was wrong, to which he replied, “Daddy and Zoe!” Liam reeled, and Hope asked to talk with Douglas alone.

Liam left and wandered upstairs, where he noticed Zoe in the CEO office. After a little small talk, he started in on her about Thomas using her. But Zoe denied it, saying that Thomas was completely loving and attentive with her, and that they had obvious chemistry. She said that she really didn’t think that Hope was on Thomas’ radar anymore.

Meanwhile, in the backstage area, Hope comforted Douglas, who told her, “I want you and Daddy together.” Hope didn’t quite know what to say, and Douglas went on. “Daddy keeps spending more time with Zoe. I saw them kissing. It scared me.” Hope assured Douglas that she’d always be there for him no matter who Thomas is spending time with.

Thomas then walked up in the shadows and eavesdropped as Douglas continued on with his appeal to Hope. “I like Zoe, but I love you, Mommy. Daddy loves you, too. If he keeps seeing Zoe, I’ll lose you. Please don’t let that happen.” Hope said that she’d never turn her back on Douglas, and that she was his Mommy now. As she told Douglas she’d do anything for him, Thomas listened and smiled.
