The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) took what her boyfriend said and reacted immediately. But her unforced error could produce grave unintended consequences.
Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) defines the height of arrogance. She got away with murder or, more accurately, two murders and a third attempted murder. Plus, her rap sheet is only what viewers have been told.
Who knows what Luna has done in her young life? Of course, her grandmother recognizes family and a kindred soul.
Electra Forrester Draws Odd Characters
Remy Price (Christian Weissman) was Electra’s friend long before they reunited in Los Angeles, California. He was unknowingly attacking her by creating and posting deepfakes.
His perceived anonymity caught up with him, thankfully. Electra happened upon a room where Remy had created a photographic shrine for her, and she confronted him. That led to a wild chase, and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) saved the day.
So-called justice in this version of LA led to Remy being given a slap on his wrist. Rather than be imprisoned for years, which would create a deterrent for others who might attempt such crimes, he was out of jail quickly.
Such is the problem with those who elevate the backstories of people like Remy. Those misguided minds degrade victims based on the provably false notion that restorative justice is just in this soapy world.
Bill Spencer Was Totally Wrong
Let’s review what happened when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was allowed out of prison after her many crimes. The short answer is that she created more crimes on B&B, specifically shooting her son and his wife.
It’s not that Sheila doesn’t deserve a second chance. Like Luna, she does. But those chances can only take place justly behind bars.
But those who advocate for the Sheila and Luna of the world refuse to acknowledge that the second chance these B&B criminals have been given is not to have faced a permanent penalty that the state of California would have administered. However, some understandably believe that would be morally wrong no matter who committed what crime.
That is why Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) made the gravest mistake when he used his power and influence. He worked with a corrupt elected official to have Luna pardoned.
Intriguingly, Bill used the word regret after witnessing the crowd’s response at his mansion and witnessing her release into the free world.
Bill elevated Luna’s backstory and created restorative justice for her. He put that goal above what her victims and those who knew them suffered, and Diamont’s character was dead wrong in doing so.
Sheila Carter Sees Easy Comparison
It was easy for Sheila to see that Electra wasn’t giving Luna a second chance, which is exactly what Brown’s character believes Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) did to her.
Sheila blames Steffy’s influence for blocking her access to John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Luna’s citing of Electra as not right for Will, followed by the warning in front of Sheila, seals the deal.
There is no doubt that the revived battle is back on. Sheila and Luna will laugh off Forrester’s warnings and go for what they want in or outside of the bounds of a purposely skewed legal system.
