Now that a nuclear war has basically erupted between Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer), Eric is not only getting in the middle of things but putting a stop to it as well. Even though this war is between Brooke and Quinn, it’s mostly because Quinn did nothing to stop Shauna from getting up close and personal with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), despite the fact that he was having marital problems. For Brooke, this is the ultimate betrayal. She can’t believe that Quinn would stoop so low as to encourage someone to get involved with a married man. Pot meets kettle, right?
John McCook, who plays Eric Forrester on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “The only thing he can do, the only way he can help the situation, is to get Shauna off the property. He thinks it is inappropriate that she’s still staying there while Ridge is still flirting with her. He understands Brooke’s motivations. However, the argument from Quinn is, ‘
Look, if Ridge is going to have a thing with Shauna, he’s going to do it wherever. If ridge wants to have an affair, he will,’ so that’s the frustration there. But, because Eric is very protective of Brooke, he pulls Shauna out of the area and gets her off the property.”

For Brooke, she sees this as a power move but for Quinn, she’s hellbent on getting her revenge. After all, she and Shauna have always had a close friendship and have had each other’s back. If Brooke things that she can just come along to the Forrester mansion and dictate what needs to be done and who needs to be booted out, she’s clearly wrong.
