The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease Eric Forrester (John McCook) may wake up but think’s he’s in the past. He could wake up thinking he’s still married to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), making things awkward!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Similar Things Have Happened Before

Similar things have happened before, with Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) waking up from her coma after being shot thinking she and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) were still married.

This was after she was shot by Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was presumed dead.

Hopefully, Eric will wake up and his family will be given a Christmas miracle, but it may not be all smooth sailing-he may think he’s years in the past.

When he’s able to breathe on his own and speak, he might want to see his wife-confusing those around him.

He could even think his daughter with Brooke and doctor Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) is Brooke, or clarify he wants to see Brooke and refer to her as his wife!

B & B Spoilers – Eric Forrester And Donna Logan Were Married Years Ago

If he asks for his wife, it’s possible everyone will think he means Donna Logan (Jennifer Garies) to whom he was married for a short time years ago.

They may just think he’s mixed up in time and think he and Donna are still married-until he says he’s talking about Brooke, and that’s been over thirty years ago.

Brooke was married to Eric before she was married to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and she and Eric have two grown children, Bridget and her older brother Rick Forrester (Jacob Young).

While it isn’t unusual for someone who’s been in a coma and who was resuscitated to have memory issues, this could be rough if he thinks he’s married to Brooke!

The only thing worse would be if he woke up thinking he was still married to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Everyone Will Have To Be Patient

Everyone will have to be patient, although if Eric doesn’t realize he’s back in time in his mind it could cause friction-both between Brooke and Donna, and him and Ridge!

Eric could make up his mind to pursue Brooke and get her back, and that would be tough to deal with for everyone, especially if Brooke decided she wanted him back!

Donna would still be hurt even though she might realize he’s regressed in his memory but she’d be more hurt by Brooke in that case.

All in all though everyone would be grateful to have Eric back, even if he is confused for a while. His memory will return as his body heals, and they’ll just have to remain patient.
