B&B spoilers reveal that for the past few weeks, Eric (John McCook) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) have been living apart. The schemer kept trying to save her marriage. For a bit, it seemed like Eric was never going to forgive her. Then, Shauna kept staying at the estate despite telling Quinn she would leave. She was being so secretive and her facial expressions say the exact opposite of her words. Even though Eric and Quinn are back together now, the story is far from over.

The patriarch might be starting to have feelings for his wife’s best friend. The soap besties have known each other forever, but are complete opposites. This is part of what is making Eric feel torn. He admires Quinn’s fierceness, determination, creative problem solving, and passion. However, he does not approve of her manipulative schemes.
When it comes to Shauna, (Denise Richards). Eric loves that she’s positive, compassionate and seems to really listen to him. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that there is more drama ahead for Eric, Quinn, and Shauna. McCook told Soap Opera Digest, teased,
“She [Quinn] can sense that Eric finds Shauna a charming martini partner. It’s fun for him to have her there. It’s an interesting situation: Eric has this one incredibly strong woman he admires and has chosen to live his life with Quinn, and then he has this fun, bubbly, entertaining woman on the other side in Shauna.”

McCook also explained that yes, Eric took Quinn back. However, he is leery of things changing for the better. He knows exactly the kind of person Quinn is and does love her. However, sometimes love just isn’t enough.
“How can they [go back]? When trust is broken, it’s very difficult to repair. While he still loves her, I think there will always be a reservation in Eric’s commitment to her. He’s very wary about the future and think if any reconciliation were to take place, it would be with a small ‘r’.”
