CBS The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was able to successfully convince Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) that she needed her pain medicine prescription refilled. Finn had encouraged Steffy to use an over the counter alternative.

Steffy’s inability to deal with the pain she’s suffering, in what was her second motorcycle accident, isn’t invented. She has broken ribs and other issues, which causing her to experience stabs of pain when performing many normal movements. So, she asked her friendly doctor for a refill.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester’s Urging Helped

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) saw that his sister was trying to tough it out. But the type of physical pain she was enduring couldn’t be willed away.

It was both compassionate and wise for Thomas to urge Steffy to contact Finn. The doctor’s willingness to stop by the cliff house once again implied that the fondness between them could lead to something more. But in the meantime, Dr. Finnegan okay’d Steffy’s refill.

B&B Spoilers – Concern About Addiction

The type and level of pain Steffy is dealing with is different than when she had her first motorcycle accident. Wood’s character told Finn that the pain is more intense and isn’t dissipating.

The doctor’s concern for his patient seems to be based on his experience with similar cases where other people became overly dependent on medication. Genuine physical sensations can link themselves to a mental reliance on high dosage pills, which can lead to a perceived permanent need for medication. Finn use of the term slippery slope shouldn’t be discounted.

It was clear that Steffy’s emotional effect on Finn persuaded him to change his mind and agree to prescribe another bottle of pills. Hopefully, he stays in regular touch with Steffy, so he can monitor what happens in the days and weeks ahead.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Couple’s Nicknames Considered

A positive outcome would have Steffy make steady progress, avoided getting hooked and have Finn become her significant other. If so, the light-hearted debate about the couple’s nickname choices will abound.

Feffy sounds like a fluffy dog and doesn’t work. Stinn combines the first two letters of Steffy’s first name and the last three letters of Finn’s nickname. Sinn is more provocative, as another option.

Whether B&B intends to allow this telegraphed couple to actually form, or if so, to endure is yet to be seen. First, Steffy needs to work past this hard part of her recovery. Then, she can think about love.
