The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease Drs. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) will race to save Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) life. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will pull the plug on Eric’s life support but then regret his choice as he sees his father take a turn for the worse!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Experimental Treatment Could Be A Miracle Cure?

Finn told Ridge, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) of an experimental treatment that could be a miracle cure.

Finn was very careful in his wording, as there are risks, and Eric could die anyway but this treatment could give him a chance to live.

Ridge wanted promises and sure things, and didn’t want Eric to be an experiment-he didn’t even want the respirator or the heart monitor on his father.

He said all of it is wrong because Eric told him he wanted no extraordinary means to preserve his life-but if he were awake, would he make the same choice?

The family were adamant, including Brooke whose arms Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) died in that Eric should be given a chance to live!

B & B Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Doesn’t Have The Right To Physically Pull The Plug!

Ridge has Eric’s medical power of attorney, but that doesn’t give him the right to literally pull the plugs on the machines that are keeping Eric alive himself.

He has the right to instruct medical professionals to do so but he has to sign the appropriate forms which include a DNR, or Do Not Resuscitate form.

The power of attorney paperwork and “living will” also have to be documented before anything can be done legally-to protect the hospital from lawsuits.

However, as upsetting as seeing Eric being kept alive by the respirator is, Ridge apparently takes matters into his own hands and disconnects them.

But as soon as Ridge disconnects the machines, all kinds of alarms go off and he regrets his actions as he sees Eric take a turn for the worse!

Finn and Bridget, who is also now at the hospital fly into the room to try and save Eric, who may well be convulsing.

Ridge thought he was carrying out his father’s wishes by pulling the plugs but now he sees him suffering even worse!

Ridge gets accused of being able to dish it out, carrying out his father’s wishes and unplugging the machines but not being able to take the results! He thought Eric would simply go back to sleep-can Finn and Bridget get him back?
