Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will feel guilty about her addiction and helps Steffy after she gets out of rehab. The actor explained Finn wants to get her back to being a strong, dynamic woman.

However, the actress said her research and talking to people showed that this type of addiction actually does happen very quickly. After an intervention staged by Finn, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Steffy agreed to get help.

B&B Spoilers – Dr. John Finnegan’s Guilt

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, actor Tanner Novlan explained that Finn feels guilty about his role in Steffy’s addiction. He also doesn’t understand how he could have missed the signs. Even though he feels partially responsible, he is just glad that Steffy is getting the help that she needs. He will continue being there to support and encourage her after she gets out of rehab, too.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Finn’s goal is to get Steffy back to being a strong, dynamic woman. The actor told the magazine,

“He certainly didn’t expect this. As he has gotten to know Steffy, he has seen that she is a strong, resilient woman, but she also has a vulnerable side… he definitely wants to see Steffy back to the woman she was before her accident. He knows she loves her daughter. She loves her job. She loves her family. He recognizes what a dynamic woman she is, and he really wants to see her return to that.”

B&B Spoilers – What To Expect

As for what fans can expect in the future, Finn and Steffy will continue to get closer. However, there will be obstacles and roadblocks along the way. It is also hinted that we might see a custody battle, even though Liam promised never to take away Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray). But in the end, we hope that Steffy is able to reunite with the little girl that she loves so much.
