It was monumentally refreshing to see Novlan join the cast. One can simultaneously admire Clifton, Wood, and Noelle, while also wanting to see their character’s linked arcs progress. Finn has already allowed that goal to be reached. Now, let’s consider how it can be advanced.
The 2010’s involved revolving storylines where Liam vacillated between Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope. (Annika Noelle) Eventually he had children with both of them during what was initially a close time proximity. It’s possible that B&B has already widened the age gap between Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Colette Gray) and Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson), but time will tell in that regard.
The creation of the Finn (Tanner Novlan) character initially gave Steffy a new man to love. But viewers are seeing that the potential for Finn and Hope to bond is real.

B&B Spoilers – Steam Stands Eternal
Steffy and Liam have already concluded that they are going to remain linked to each other in ways that go beyond their daughter. What happened at the cliff house was rationalized as natural and something they don’t regret.
Despite his initial thoughts, Liam has seemingly been convinced to not tell Hope what happened. Steffy got through to Liam, persuading him that many people’s lives would needlessly be disrupted if he unburden his mind.
So, it’s actually Steffy who’s driving the secret, as Finn will later determine.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer’s Trust Is Broken
A major confrontation will happen as soon as Hope learns that Liam broke her trust. She’ll rightfully be very upset by what happened with Steffy.
Yes, it’s possible that B&B is developing a scenario where Hope and Thomas are in the process of bonding. But wouldn’t it be more believable to digest the two wronged people, Hope and Finn, bonding instead?
If the above happens, Finn will be one of the aggrieved parties, with Steffy trying to regain his trust and maintain their love tie. But if he and Hope spark, then Finn would, in effect, bump Liam from one of B&B’s longstanding triangles.
