The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has made what could prove to be a devastating decision. He has chosen to stand by Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), who he now refers to as his mother or mom.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is beside herself. Hearing that Sheila returned to the cliff house, collapsed, and then was hospitalized seemed like something that would happen on a daytime drama.

There are only bad options from this point in the plot. The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Classic Soap Opera Plot

How could Sheila have committed all these acts, dating to the 1990s, and not be imprisoned for the remainder of her life? Well, this is a classic soap opera plot.

Sheila’s staggering return to Los Angeles, California, comes with no explanation of how she is walking the streets. Villains are allowed to commit heinous crimes and then are allowed to walk among those who haven’t. That only happens on B&B and the other surviving broadcast network soaps, right?

The injustice of someone like Sheila being back in the Forrester’s lives is that this group of people, including Finn, Hayes, and his adoptive parents, are needlessly impacted. That is just one reason why villains like Sheila should be behind bars for the rest of their lives.

B&B Spoilers – John Finn Finnegan Played By His Birth Mother

For whatever her reasons, Sheila decided that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) should be allowed to claim that he was adopting Finn when he was a baby. That choice and her subsequent decision to stay out of Finn’s life while he was growing up offers a glimpse of what seems to be the rational part of Sheila’s brain.

Jack was not innocent in this scenario. He withheld information from his wife, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), about the relationship with Sheila. He also didn’t tell Li or Novlan’s character that he was Finn’s actual father.

All these years later, Sheila changes course after seeing Steffy’s social media post about the Sinn wedding. Then, she abuses her maternal tie and what could have been a modest rapprochement by refusing to stay away after Finn asks her to do so.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Destabilized By Family Nemesis

Steffy rightfully thought that she met her next soul mate. The drama of Steam versus Lope was gone. A new man, their son, and blissful days were ahead at the cliff house.

Then, Sheila returned, visited the cliff house twice, and has seemingly fooled Finn into believing that she’s in crisis. The audience is aware that she’s faking. Steffy feels the same in her gut.

Sheila may well defeat Steffy in the short term. But she is Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) granddaughter and namesake. So, further soapy rounds have yet to begin on B&B.
