Finn wasn’t texting in his car while driving, which could lead to an automobile accident. Steffy wasn’t doing that on her motorcycle last year, either. But of course the accident is the believable scenario B&B’s writing staff created to bring Novlan and Wood’s characters together.

Instead of using his smartphone recklessly, Finn simply heard an alert and, like many users, was conditioned to check it. And yes, allowances can be made for the fact that he’s a doctor and needs to respond to alerts for business reasons. But those messages should be set to a certain recognizable tune.

B&B Spoilers – Sheila Carter Lies To Gain Access

Any thoughts that Sheila is even trying to be good were dashed when she called the hospital and intentionally lied about the reason why she wanted to get in digital touch with Dr. Finnegan.

Finn didn’t question how his just realized mother had the ability to send him the text. He was overcome by emotion, which reinforced his kind nature. But Finn’s response, in replying with a heart emoji, also confirmed that he’s vulnerable to Sheila’s infamous manipulation streak.

The longer Finn keeps any contact Sheila makes with him a secret, the greater jeopardy he will be putting his new family and his parents in. But Jack actually appears responsible for this threat existing.

Saying what anyone should have done in Jack’s situation represents nothing more than an opinion. Instead of criticizing Jack, as he’s already begun experiencing, all connected characters need to learns any relevant information he might know.

A pass can be given to Jack for not telling Li or Finn about Sheila, as King’s character stated that he didn’t know the full extent of her history. But if that’s not true or he is Finn’s father, then his marriage may well end, the trust he enjoys with Novlan’s character would be broken, and who knows what Sheila will do in the meantime to exploit whatever the actual facts are on B&B.
