The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that there will be no new episode airing on New Year’s Day. So, what is happening on Friday, January 2, 2026? Fans can expect Dylan (Sydney Bullock) to express her appreciation.

Meanwhile, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) strategize with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

Just a quick reminder that there is no new episode airing on Thursday, January 1. Instead, fans will see a rerun. However, a brand-new episode will air on Friday, January 2. So, let’s start talking about what is coming up.

Katie Logan Spencer’s Bittersweet Win

Fans know that Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) and Brooke are in a fight over the Logan name. Katie chose that name for her new fashion house.

However, Forrester Creations had a trademark on the name Logan for years, although they never really did anything with it.

In the end, Katie got the name thanks to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). However, while Katie scored a business win, the personal turmoil is tearing the woman apart. Katie doesn’t want to lose her sisterhood with Brooke, but there is a lot of bad history there.

Carter Walton Strategizes

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Friday, January 2 reveal that Carter dropped the ball by letting the Logan trademark lapse. We aren’t talking about a few days, but an entire year. However, he’s not taking responsibility for his failure.

Instead, Carter is accusing Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) of manipulating the system. Carter is also blaming Bill for ruining Brooke and Katie’s relationship.

When new episodes return, expect Carter, Brooke, and Ridge to put their heads together. They will actively plan to undermine Katie’s new business. That isn’t good.

While they might not agree with Kaite taking the Logan name, targeting her business is really shady. It also shows just how insecure Forrester Creations is about their unexpected competition!

Dylan’s Appreciation

There is also Dylan, who has been given a place to live by Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace).

Dylan is so thankful and really appreciates how much they are helping her out. At the same time, it seems that Dylan will end up getting fixated on Will.

So, what will that do to Dylan and Electra’s friendship? We have seen Electra get vicious with Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada), but that was an enemy. How will Electra handle Dylan?
