The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers Friday, October 16: Steffy & Hope Each Confront Liam About His Animosity Toward Finn – Liam Forced To Look Inward

CBS The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, October 16, tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will get an earful from both Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, Liam is currently at the cliff house with Steffy, and he’s just sent John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) out of the house so he can chat with Steffy alone.

As B&B viewers know, Liam then launched into his tried-and-true spiel about how Finn crossed an ethical boundary with Steffy and how he was responsible for Steffy’s addiction to opioid painkillers. But Liam won’t stop there. According to B&B spoilers, Liam will make some demand regarding Finn, which will probably be that he wants Finn to stay away from Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray).

Well, it doesn’t look like that’s going to sit well with Steffy at all, and Steffy will probably be able to see exactly what’s going on here – that Liam is jealous of Steffy’s relationship with Finn, and that he’s using Kelly as a way to drive a wedge between Steffy and Finn. According to the Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, Steffy will stand up to Liam and refuse to allow him to make unilateral decisions about who she can see and who can see Kelly.

Steffy may need to give Liam an education on what exactly causes addiction, and how one particular factor in the equation really shouldn’t be singled out as THE cause of Steffy’s entire opioid addiction problem. Steffy has just completed a rehab program, and she’ll probably take responsibility for her own addiction, telling Liam that he’s downright wrong to blame Finn.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Spencer Calls Out Liam Spencer On His Behavior Toward Steffy Forrester

After Liam and Steffy part ways, it looks like Liam will regroup with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). As B&B viewers are aware, Hope was exasperated when Liam tore out of Forrester Creations in order to go insert himself into Kelly’s homecoming and reunion with Steffy. Hope can see that Liam’s real problem here is with Finn, and a part of her may suspect that Liam is feeling jealous of the new man in Steffy’s life.

At any rate, on Friday’s new episode of B&B, Hope will call out Liam on his overprotectiveness of Steffy. According to B&B spoilers, Liam will be shocked when Hope calls him out, and Hope will probably lay out exactly what she thinks is going on here – that is, that Liam is jealous and is having difficulty seeing Steffy move on with someone else.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Will Liam Spencer Get A Clue About His True Motivations When It Comes To Steffy Forrester?

Of course, Liam will probably again insist that this is all about Kelly and protecting her. But Hope might call out Liam as just using Kelly as a way to keep holding on to Steffy and to control who she sees. We’ll see how this argument shapes up, but perhaps Liam will learn something about himself and his true motives when Hope lays it on the line.
