The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that filming could resume as early as mid-May. Actor Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) had a Twitter chat session. While he did intend to talk about the classic episode airing, news updates over COVID-19 got in the way of the original plan. So, Clifton improvised and answered fan questions, one of which was when production could resume.

Los Angeles Extends Lockdown… Again

B&B spoilers reveal that many parts of the country have opened back up. However, that is not the case for Los Angeles. As we previously reported, the stay-at-home order was extended to May 15. Reports indicate that it has been extended again and normal life may not resume until August or September.

B&B Spoilers: Production May Resume Soon

Clifton told fans that there is a tentative plan to resume production as early as May 15. However, they have been told dates before and the plans didn’t work out. This is because coronavirus is making life unpredictable. So, that date is not set in stone.

“We have an idea. We were told, all of us, the whole cast, that we were going to try for mid-May, so like, May 15th-ish. But we’d been told, we had been given other dates before that, that didn’t pan out because things keep changing.”

Safeguards Will Be Put in Place

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that life may not return back to normal anytime soon. Even if filming does resume soon, certain safeguards have to be put in place. While we all miss our soaps, nothing tops the health and safety of human beings.

Clifton explained that the set would be smaller with fewer people on it. There would be certain protocols that have to be followed. That could include no kissing scenes and there might not even be contact fights.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Eager to Return to Work

Fans are eager for new episodes to air and actors want to return to work. However, Clifton explained that it needs to be done safely and intelligently. May 15 is just a few days away, so we should hear something very soon about when production could resume. In the meantime, we can get our B&B fix by watching the theme weeks that are currently airing.

Right now, viewers are enjoying “Fashion Week” and watching Hope Logan (then Kim Matula, now Annika Noelle) be aggressively hunted by the paparazzi. Of course, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is involved. Even back then, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was trying to do the right thing and help her enemy.
