New reports say that Heather has picked up a new directorial gig. She will be working the camera for an upcoming episode of the Freeform series Good Trouble. This is great news for the actress as it’s her first primetime gig. But with all of the things that she’s been juggling lately, this has a lot of fans worried about what this means for her role on The Bold and the Beautiful. Does this mean we will be seeing Katie Logan less?

But according to Heather, she’s not too worried at all. As a matter of fact, she told CBS Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “The Bold and the Beautiful has been amazing about working out the schedule for me. It’s been great and it’s all been really informative. I’m learning so much.”

Heather also added that she has been shadowing various showrunners and directorial teams as part of the mentorship program in addition to working her regular gig at The Bold and the Beautiful. She was gone for the better part of the spring but would fly back to Los Angeles to do multiple episode of the soap in a day and then fly out again.

So with Heather so busy, what does this mean for her on-screen character Katie Logan? That’s what fans want to know. So far it appears as though her relationship with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is blossoming. But how long that will last is anyone’s guess at this point.

Also, many fans have noticed that she has been absent during the Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) drama. Here’s hoping that Katie does come back. As much as we love seeing Heather do her work behind the cameras, we certainly miss seeing her in front of one, too!
