Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Trying To Handle Douglas Forrester’s Father

Douglas isn’t a problem. He’s a kind-hearted young man who’s life has been constantly disrupted since his mother, Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) supposedly died of a blood clot earlier this year. The specific adverb ‘supposedly’ was used because of Thomas’ willingness to drug Liam last year and the general amoral attitude that Atkinson’s character possesses.

Thomas has been and remains a problem. He’s unpredictable and dangerous, which Hope should have learned by now.

In choosing to secure a co-parenting adoption agreement with Thomas, Hope has now forced Liam to be connected to a man he despises and completely distrusts.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Logan Tries To Balance Adoption With Relationship

Hope believes that she’ll be able to handle the constant contact she’ll have with Thomas, while also managing whatever type of relationship she has with Liam. As B&B fans know, Lope hasn’t gotten remarried after regaining their daughter.

The initial jubilation that followed Beth’s reentry into their life wasn’t followed by another Lope nuptial. Intervening circumstances have come into play following the unchallenged annulment Thomas gave Hope.

Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) initial adoption suggestion was adapted by Hope. The first step has been realized, with the second becoming an even more tenuous goal to reach.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Must Remain Vigilant

Hope isn’t naive. She knows Thomas is unstable and hopes to eventually obtain full custody of Douglas.

Liam hasn’t been made aware of Hope’s longterm plan for Douglas. Hopefully that happens because Thomas will be capable of exacting any type of response, no matter the collateral damage or consequences to himself.

Thomas sees Liam as an adversary who can be beaten. Whether Liam defeats himself by alienating Hope along the way is part of the intrigue within this developing arc.
