The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will be preparing to take Hope Logan (Anika Noelle) to court! Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) has a bit of a complicated backstory, and his short life has already been filled with trauma, confusion, and a shared custody agreement.
Remember, Hope isn’t actually Douglas’s biological mother, she adopted him. He was originally born to Thomas and Caroline Spencer II (Linsey Godfrey) after Thomas takes advantage of her while she’s on strong medications in a hotel room because he had wanted her for so long and finally found a way to get what he wants.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Born Under A Lie
Ridge would then convince Caroline to try to keep her son’s paternity a secret as she would marry Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and he would raise his grandson as his own. However, after spending some time with Douglas, Thomas would feel conflicted and Caroline felt guilty knowing the truth. While Ridge continued to be adamant about keeping it a secret, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) would discover the truth!
After some time, RIdge eventually came around to the idea of telling Thomas the truth, and that he was the actual father of Douglas. Things would eventually lead to Thomas and Caroline living together in New York while raising Douglas. However, when she died in 2019, Thomas and Douglas came back to Los Angeles.

More recently, we saw Thomas and Hope together, married and Hope eventually adopts Douglas as her own. Of course, the marriage doesn’t last. Thomas goes insane, begins stalking her, and even gets romantically involved with a mannequin. Yes, remember? That really happened.

While Hope and Thomas have shared custody, it looks like Thomas is done sharing his son with her and will be taking her to court to gain full custody. While Hope knows she isn’t Douglas’s mother, she still feels like it and has been so for several years. I believe she will fight back against the court in an attempt to keep the joint custody agreement, but if Thomas pushes a little too hard, I could see her going for the whole thing.
Thomas may want to tread carefully, especially with the way his past has been. He could easily lose the privilege to even see his own son, let alone full custody.

I just dont think I’ll ever root for Hope in the custody fight given how she got the adoption and the animosity between the Logans and Forresters. Douglas is a Forrester and that will shown to be the case. He just won’t be a Logan at the end of it.
But you need to look at Thomas he is not the best father figure for Douglas. Look back at what Thomas was willing to do to Hope knowing Beth was alive and was being raised by Steffy. That was so very cruel. I do not agree on how Hope got custody but look who she was u against.
I think Hope should go for the whole thing; full custody: sole custody: cut-off Thomas completely. It sounds harsh I know but Thomas will try anything and everything, to keep Douglas. Hope needs to get pregnant again. Why hasn’t she already? Writers you have dropped the ball when it comes to Hope. Also , add on to the cabin or move Her and Iam and the kids back to Liam beach house. Remember his beach house?
Steffy bought the beach house from Bill! I am sure they can find another house!
I want the truth about Taylor sleeping with her friend the psychiatrist in the cabin at Big Ben. And I’m hoping that stuffy or Thomas isn’t ridges. I’m sure everyone has for gotten that Taylor stuffy and Thomas are always talking about broooke taking their dad from Taylor Brooke n ridge is always loved Brooke more than anyone else He has always went back to her. And no one talks about what ridge and Taylor has done to her. Or what Steffens done to hope over and over. I just want stuffy to be Taylor’s friends child and her sister too
Let that man have his son. He hasn’t had any issues as of late. Douglas deserves to be with his family and that’s not Hope n liam. No matter what Thomas has been through he has the right to be a father to his child.
