The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Hope Blindsided, Thomas Prepares For Family Court

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will be preparing to take Hope Logan (Anika Noelle) to court! Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) has a bit of a complicated backstory, and his short life has already been filled with trauma, confusion, and a shared custody agreement.

Remember, Hope isn’t actually Douglas’s biological mother, she adopted him. He was originally born to Thomas and Caroline Spencer II (Linsey Godfrey) after Thomas takes advantage of her while she’s on strong medications in a hotel room because he had wanted her for so long and finally found a way to get what he wants.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Born Under A Lie

Ridge would then convince Caroline to try to keep her son’s paternity a secret as she would marry Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and he would raise his grandson as his own. However, after spending some time with Douglas, Thomas would feel conflicted and Caroline felt guilty knowing the truth. While Ridge continued to be adamant about keeping it a secret, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) would discover the truth!

After some time, RIdge eventually came around to the idea of telling Thomas the truth, and that he was the actual father of Douglas. Things would eventually lead to Thomas and Caroline living together in New York while raising Douglas. However, when she died in 2019, Thomas and Douglas came back to Los Angeles.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Logan Adopts Douglas Forrester

More recently, we saw Thomas and Hope together, married and Hope eventually adopts Douglas as her own. Of course, the marriage doesn’t last. Thomas goes insane, begins stalking her, and even gets romantically involved with a mannequin. Yes, remember? That really happened.

While Hope and Thomas have shared custody, it looks like Thomas is done sharing his son with her and will be taking her to court to gain full custody. While Hope knows she isn’t Douglas’s mother, she still feels like it and has been so for several years. I believe she will fight back against the court in an attempt to keep the joint custody agreement, but if Thomas pushes a little too hard, I could see her going for the whole thing.

Thomas may want to tread carefully, especially with the way his past has been. He could easily lose the privilege to even see his own son, let alone full custody.
