However, her attempts to help Steffy don’t give her any information. All it does is make Hope aware that she is hiding something. Due to her recent opioid addiction recovery, Hope assumes that Steffy must have relapsed.

      If she doesn't want to tell the truth, all Steffy has to say is that she is still very worried about Thomas and offer to take a test to prove she is drugfree.

      Steffy is not on drugs again. Did u read the article? Hope just suspects that she is hiding something (which she is) and she thinks that maybe Steffy is having a relapse. She doesn't know that Steffy slept with Liam.
