This is yet another twist within a storyline that took Noelle from offering voice-overs for the mannequin to playing a dual role, where she also plays the doll.

Liam has been rightfully suspicious of Thomas’ perceived progress. Clifton’s character has been pleading with everyone to remain on alert, but he’s been shrugged off. Now, with seeming eye witness evidence, Liam has gone out of his mind and to the cliff house to seek Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) consolation.

Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) was with his adoptive mother when she was taking him to the cabin. But plastic Hope provided crucial plot detail when she was telling Thomas that the real Hope had returned for her purse. So, Liam is likely to question whether Hope was alone in the apartment with Thomas at any point in time.

It was unclear during the Thomas-mannequin dialogue if Hope had actually returned to retrieve the purse she forgot. But if that event happened, then Liam’s theory would be furthered.
