Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero was arrested for falsifying medical records, which was tampering with Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) paternity test. “Lope” had discovered earlier that Vinny was already out on bail. Bill knew that looking at all these connections and coincidences, the police wouldn’t believe hitting Vinny was an accident.

Before Bill and Liam could go over what to do, one of them fainted. Bill took action right away and put Liam in the car. Then, he made sure there was no way the hit-and-run could be connected to them. It’s true that Bill didn’t wait for Liam to wake up so he could ask him. In Bill’s mind, Liam was going to spend the rest of his life in prison. So, he went to extremes to protect his son. Bill thinks that he was doing his duty to keep Liam safe.

Ever since the hit-and-run, Bill and Liam have been on different pages. Bill has no regrets about trying to protect his son. However, Liam began a mental spiral downward as he wasn’t able to cope with the guilt. Liam plans on going to the police and telling them the truth.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Liam admits to Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan White) that he killed Vinny. The deputy chief will push Liam to name the person who covered up the crime. However, Liam refuses to identify his partner. Baker might even remind Liam that protecting someone will just hurt him even more. It means Liam could have several criminal charges filed against him instead of just one or two. It could also mean Liam will be behind bars for decades.

Hope knows that her marriage and family are uncertain right now. She is already panicking and when she finds out that Liam won’t name his “cleaner,” Hope will completely fall apart.

By the end of next week, Hope will be frantic and hysterical. She runs to Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and cries on her shoulder. Hope will tell Brooke that Liam was the driver who struck Vinny. Then, she will explain that Bill cleaned up the crime scene and got rid of the evidence. Hope blames Bill for Liam’s legal crisis and doesn’t know what to do.

How will Brooke react to Hope’s bombshell? Will Brooke get Bill’s side of the story and could she even defend the man? It’s possible that Bill being partially responsible for Hope’s anguish could drive a wedge in the friendship.
